Ringkasnya
Semua fitur ezkanji (Jelajah, flashcard, kuis, Dungeon Quest, statistik) bisa dipakai tanpa akun; progresmu tersimpan di perangkatmu sendiri. Akun hanya untuk menyinkronkan progres itu antar perangkat. Tidak ada iklan, tidak ada pelacak atau analitik, dan data tidak dijual atau dibagikan.
Di perangkatmu (tanpa akun)
Progres belajar (tanda “sudah paham”, kartu flashcard & riwayat jawabannya, opsi deck, hasil kuis & Dungeon Quest, catatan, koleksi, pencapaian) dan pilihan tampilan (level, mode, bahasa, tema, saringan) disimpan di penyimpanan browser (localStorage). Ada juga ID perangkat acak (8 karakter) untuk menjumlahkan aktivitas harian dari beberapa perangkat. File aplikasi & data kanji disimpan oleh service worker supaya bisa dibuka offline. Semua ini tidak dikirim ke server sebelum kamu masuk akun, dan hilang bila data situs di browser dihapus. Ekspor ke Anki (.apkg) dan pengoptimal FSRS berjalan sepenuhnya di perangkat.
Yang disimpan saat kamu masuk
ID akunmu dari Google atau GitHub (sebuah nomor, bukan email), nama tampilan, alamat foto profil, dan salinan progres di atas (beserta waktu tiap perubahan) supaya tersinkron. Sinkron hanya berjalan saat aplikasi dibuka, saat kamu menekan ⟳, dan sebelum keluar. Tautan koleksi yang kamu bagikan berisi daftar kanji/katanya sendiri dan tidak disimpan di server, tetapi siapa pun yang memegang tautan itu bisa melihat isinya. Email tidak diminta dan tidak disimpan.
Cookie
Hanya satu cookie sesi (HttpOnly, berlaku 30 hari dan diperpanjang saat dipakai) supaya kamu tetap masuk. Server hanya menyimpan sidik (hash) token sesi itu, bukan tokennya. Tidak ada cookie iklan atau pelacak.
Laporan kesalahan
Isi laporan, isi kartu yang dilaporkan, dan bahasa aplikasi disimpan supaya bisa diperbaiki; laporan tidak terhubung ke akunmu. Alamat IP tidak disimpan; hanya sidik acak harian untuk membatasi spam. Formulir laporan memakai Cloudflare Turnstile (pemeriksaan anti-bot, biasanya tak terlihat) yang dimuat dari Cloudflare hanya saat formulir dibuka; Cloudflare menerima alamat IP dan data browser untuk pemeriksaan itu.
Layanan pihak ketiga
Situs, API, dan database berjalan di Cloudflare (Pages, Functions, D1); seperti server web lain, Cloudflare memproses alamat IP untuk mengirim halaman dan membatasi permintaan berlebih (tidak disimpan oleh ezkanji). Login lewat Google atau GitHub sesuai pilihanmu, dan foto profil dimuat dari server mereka. Font dan ilustrasi dimuat dari ezkanji sendiri. Tombol 🔊 memakai suara Jepang bawaan perangkat/browser; sebagian browser memakai layanan suara online milik pembuat browser.
Pengelola
Pengelola ezkanji bisa melihat laporan kesalahan dan daftar akun (nama, tanggal dibuat, penyedia login, jumlah kanji/kata yang ditandai) untuk menjaga layanan, misalnya mengeluarkan sesi yang disalahgunakan. Setiap tindakan pengelola dicatat. Isi catatan dan progres pribadimu tidak ditampilkan di panel pengelola.
Menghapus data
Saat masuk, bagian Hapus akun di bawah halaman Privasi di aplikasi (ezkanji.com/akun) menghapus akun dan seluruh progresmu di server (termasuk riwayat latihan, catatan, koleksi, dan sesi) secara permanen, seketika. Keluar juga menghapus salinan progres akun di perangkat itu. Progres tanpa akun bisa dihapus dengan menghapus data situs ezkanji di browser.

Privacy Policy
In short
Every ezkanji feature (Explore, flashcards, quizzes, Dungeon Quest, statistics) works without an account; your progress is saved on your own device. An account only syncs that progress across devices. No ads, no trackers or analytics, and no data is sold or shared.
On your device (no account)
Learning progress (“known” marks, flashcards and their answer history, deck options, quiz & Dungeon Quest results, notes, collections, achievements) and display choices (levels, mode, language, theme, filters) are kept in browser storage (localStorage). There is also a random device ID (8 characters) used to add up daily activity from several devices. App files and kanji data are cached by a service worker so the app works offline. None of this is sent to the server until you sign in, and it is gone if you clear the site's data in your browser. Anki export (.apkg) and the FSRS optimizer run entirely on your device.
What we store when you sign in
Your account ID from Google or GitHub (a number, not your email), display name, profile photo URL, and a copy of the progress above (with the time of each change) so it can sync. Sync only runs when the app opens, when you press ⟳, and before you sign out. Collection links you share carry the kanji/word list themselves and are not stored on the server, but anyone with the link can see what is in it. Your email is never requested or stored.
Cookies
Just one session cookie (HttpOnly, valid for 30 days and renewed while in use) to keep you signed in. The server stores only a hash of that session token, not the token itself. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Error reports
The report, the reported card's content, and the app language are stored so it can be fixed; reports are not linked to your account. IP addresses are not stored; only a random daily fingerprint to limit spam. The report form uses Cloudflare Turnstile (a bot check, usually invisible), loaded from Cloudflare only when the form is opened; Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser data for that check.
Third-party services
The site, API, and database run on Cloudflare (Pages, Functions, D1); like any web server, Cloudflare processes IP addresses to deliver pages and limit excessive requests (ezkanji does not store them). Sign-in goes through Google or GitHub, whichever you choose, and profile photos load from their servers. Fonts and illustrations are served by ezkanji itself. The 🔊 button uses your device's or browser's built-in Japanese voice; some browsers use an online speech service run by the browser maker.
Administrators
ezkanji's administrators can see error reports and the account list (name, creation date, sign-in provider, number of marked kanji/words) to keep the service running, for example to end a misused session. Every administrator action is logged. Your private notes and progress details are not shown in the admin panel.
Deleting your data
While signed in, the Delete account section at the bottom of the in-app Privacy page (ezkanji.com/akun) permanently deletes your account and all your progress on the server (including practice history, notes, collections, and sessions), immediately. Sign out also removes the account's progress copy from that device. Progress without an account can be removed by clearing ezkanji's site data in your browser.
